About While Mother Nature can put on some spectacular shows at sunset, she can equally do the same at sunrise. In this scene the whole valley was bathed in a yellow-gold light which made all objects appear in its full splendor, purity and thus magnifying its innocence.

Maybe this photo will make man think twice before activating his first instinct to always destroy what nature has created for all to enjoy.

Hi Gaetan.....I was a brat, but not affiliated with the military. My father was a local sculptor until he moved. Me along with him....
Wow, Ottawa, there is some amazing landscape north of there but you will have to get used to green and blue with out the reds you enjoy now...although it is granite country and that really makes for some interesting outcrops especially from a canoe ...hmmmm...better get a lot of bug spray, they are the size of elephants!

P.S. Would u happen to have been a Canadian military brat to be born in Colorado Springs? I expect to leave the Springs for Ottawa within a year.

Fabulous colors! the way you composed this image my eye winds itself easily into your shot.
I see you are in Colo Springs....I was born there, actually lived in Manitou Springs right where the train heads up the mountain.

Yes the colours are sumptious and I like the low angle you've chosen to shoot from. Deserts are so delicate, changing easily with the wind or rain, humans can easily have a devastating effect.

The more people to see these shots, the greater the chance it's destruction will be postponed. I'm convinced that ignorance is responsible for the lack of parks support. Your portfolio shots do much to educate the public, unfortunately UF people are perhaps not the true target group that need the education (?) Nice shots.-john
