Thank you Arif. This started life as a colour image.I duplicated the layer,desaturated to make that layer black and white,added a layer mask thenpainted the umbrella back through making sure the foreground coloue was black.All of this was done in photoshop and hope you can understand it all.

Hey Danny, do you ever leave your appartment mate  ... if you don't, you obviously seem to have a good reason!!
I like the perspective in this one as in the other ones you have taken (i believe from the same street/ square). very well arranged, and good contrast-- good idea the desaturation of all colours but red!
