Hey,
I know, i love b&w photography too.it kind of leads you to the mood of the moment, & the action or whatever you are trying to express better than color. color distracts you sometimes from the aim of the photo.people will look at the color of the hair, eyes, skin, rather than read the moment. so yeah I agree with you dear friend.

Well well well, you have done a great thing tunrning this one in B&W, despite the fact that the other one is more original in rules of gravity (LOL) and the details of the subject (you), this one to me holds more artistic values--- first because of the angle it is taken, the high contrast-- going deep into your mood, hence making a more intimate portrait and conveying the feeling of 'he loves me, he loves me not' far more strongly than the other one!
ups, I just remembered that i love B&W photography, so i'll stop blathering but could not stop temptation of saying that!
