About My ever growing Daughter how acts as my model, when i want to try a lighting style out. Here we have a large softbox about 3ft away from her on her right ( left side of the photo) and a white umbrella on the opposite to fill in the shadows. all comments welcomed

Technically spot on. I'd probably crop it so it was closer to square though, just looks a bit "elongated".

Thanks T, the lights I was using only have a small modelling lamp in them, so this would account for the dilation due to the room being darkish ( I'm a biomed tech I fix what you doctors break LOL) cheers Jason

what a nice model Jason, light on face and BW tones are perfect; lights on right shoulder are a bit blown out; overall i like it a lot; btw pupils are very dilated (do not forget i'm doctor) typical of dark places but it seems you had a good lighting so I wonder why?
peace brother....jd
