Been meaning to respondd to this but keep forgetting. Painter is an awesome program. Like it's cousin Photoshop it's the 800lb gorilla of paint programs with a steep learning curve, but there's lots of books, tapes, and websites for help. I'm just barely beginning. I just found out I'm eligible for an acedemic discount, but before that I found *legitimate* copies on ebay - jewel case only for between $50 and $100. Just wanted to mention that. Thanks for your feedback.
