Well the lighting from above has cast a lovely feel to the photo. Love the rustic edges on the stairs, combined with the smooth turned post. Fantastic combination of textures.
Must look great as a wall hanging.:)

The original print was sepia toned, and I scanned it as a color jpeg. It was taken in an old house in Laguna that was being remodeled. There was nice light from above because the roof was off!
I had this print hanging on my wall for about 8 years, and it fell down today, so I decided to scan it before I hang it back up.

Hi Ed,
This is a really nice scan with good detail. I like the rustic nature of the subject and the color as well. Is it sepia, or was some digital color effect added post-camera? Also, do you know where the original photo was taken?
