About It jut reminds me of that mysterious civilization. Perhaps because of the coloring and the shape that somehow looks like the houses that they built in the reddish rocks.

A fourfold exposure in the living room of my own home in hergiswil, made some years ago.

Observing the business

Point source of surface waves

The morning fog

Curtain and no lens

Late at night, going home

Yes, Andre, one ought to remember what the already done shots look like when combined on a single frame of film. But a bit of exercise and a bit of time dealing with such things makes it rather easy.

Best wishes and thank you very much for the interest.

A good idea to get this very abstract room this way. The multiple shots in the camera do require a little calculation when it comes to exposure of the individual shots don't they?

Hey Steve, nothing to be sorry about, really! I only want to understand your comment.

It was only a multiple exposure, Steve, four takes on the same frame of film. OK, perhaps one could name it "stiching on the fly", or something similar? But I thought that stiching is the process of creating somethink like a panorama (and the like) by combining many photos. This one would be then the analogon of working with layers in PS?

Best wishes, and many thanks,

Nick

Sorry, Nick. It looked to me like four rotations of the same photo that I assumed had to have been stitched together to make a single photo. So what did you do to achieve the effect?
It's a really fine photo.

You got it James!

One of those evenings when the ghosts of the past grow out of the bottle of scotch. Then I shoot such photos.

Best wishes and thanks a lot!
