About Sorry folks - uploaded the wrong file the first time.
I was attempting to show someone crossing over to the afterlife. I waited until we had a real foggy night and got my daughter out of bed to come be my "model" on the bridge. The only light used was a street lamp on the far side of the bridge. Your thoughts are truly appreciated.

I like this a lot.... you actually set out to do just what you set to do.... gives the feeling of coming to "the light" so to speak... creative idea being a bridge... it is a warm, calm and peaceful photo.

very creative!!

Bravo for the idea about the composition - a solitary person in moody lighting, my all time fav subject. I love the light in front, as if its calling her - to a brighter future, maybe. Lovely, poetic work, my compliments!
regards
Marija :)

Thanks again Alison - I guess this shot leaves one to many different interpretations. I like the "mystical awakening"!

Your concept of crossing over could fit well here, i also see it as a mystical awakening or a UFO encounter. either way the light , the color, and the mysterious silhouetted figure on the bridge came out beautifully. Welcom to usefilm. Alison

I wish I could have had her walking more but unfortunately it was just after midnight and I only had ISO200 speed film which forced me into a 30 second exposure to get good DOF. the other problem I ran into is that this bridge actually sways so I had to get her out there and wait a few minutes for the bridge to settle down before I could even think of opening the shutter. Thank you very much for taking the time to critique my photo, it truly is appreciated.

I like the idea here. Suggestion would be to get your subject walking. Looks a little too fake just standing there. Otherwise, very interesting.

I think it's not right to do always the same things, I like the difference and I'm flexible ^^
