umm not that I recall Ray kekeke ..well this guy well all the male King parrtos that land round here are called Ronnie.. after a local (push)bike shop owner who dies in the Olympic Torch Rally.. handed the flame on to his son and then collapsed and died ..quite poignant really so Yeah.. Ronnie is this guys name and all the females are called Pam yep u guessed it Ronnie's wife kekeke.. ahhh and Shelby..yeah her works are quite unique generally showing the quiter moments in life ... I thought u may have been talking about Anne Texter also a Texan who no longer contributes to UF but a damned fine photographer n e way... have a good day .. 57mm of rain here O/nite.. brilliant ..first rain like that for well I just looked it up on my weather charts Feb 2005 when we had 63mm on the 2nd of Feb.. so cause for celebration

Have you been in my backyard Roger? That looks like a bird we call Randy up here on the mountain. Nice color and comp (and it does seem to be a departure for you)

A departure from your other "bird in the bush" pix Rog!
Re your question on my in camera multiple exposures. The Nikon D200 has a multiple exposure option. Up to 9 exposures with manual or auto gain. Works a treat. It can also overlay 2 raw exposures and create a third without destroying the 2 originals. The electronics just keep on getting smarter.
Cheers John

whoa! different subject for you,eh?...vivid color, nice dof and on my monitor seems to be a tad dark, but my guess is that it would print lighter...if i saw one of these in a tree out here, there would probably be a flyer attached to a nearby pole announcing their pet polly was missing...what a trip to have these in the wild
cheers,gayle
