I guess it is still tilted a little bit. I thought I had it pretty well straightened out! The original is tilted a bit more!

I agree the image does look a little soft but thats not the problem for me. What is most noticable is the tilt in the horizon, the sea looks like it's running out... :(
I do however like the use of the fence to lead the eye into the shot. :)

I like the compostion with the fence and all but looking closer at the picture it looks a bit soft. Maybe its my screen or maybe a higer aperture would do the trick.

I think, typically, this type of shot is meant to be in landscape mode, but you have done well to be different :)
