Thanks for viewing and your nice comment. Yes, Collin, I was standing on the waters edge right in front of my home when I took that. Have a great day.

The reflection.....hm yes. I didn't see it, but yes it'll be the distortion of the lens probably. Doesn't matter :) Alain

Hi Kelly, Yes, this one was also taken from my front yard. The lake is now frozen over. I am planning getting out on the ice to catch the sunset on this shore sometime soon. If it turns out, I will post it so you can see the view from the other direction. Thanks so much for your comments and viewing.

Hi Jan, Thanks for the comments I appreciate the feedback. I will work on correcting the image. If I am successful in leveling the horizon without throwing the reflection of the too far out I will post it again. All the best.

Hi Alain, I suspect the horizon is off bit. Another thing I'm not sure about is the reflection of the sun on the water. It's pointing away from me which doesn't seem right. I suspect this is caused by the distortion of the lens. When I tried to correct this then the horizon went out whack. I really appreciate your feedback and comments. Thanks for viewing.

Joe - looks like you could reach up and touch the sky; it has so much color and texture. Yup; the horizon is off by a degree or two as Alain indicated but I still think this is beautiful. I'll just tilt my head slightly. :) --Best to you, Jan
