Johnny,
Thank you my friend, as I have some B800's too. I am trying to learn how to use them better...
When I shoot @ Darryl's, he sets up all of the lighting, but when I'm around the house I have some learning to do...
Thank you once again,
Martin

Martin,
Thank you.
I lit this portrait with two Alien Bees B800's. One was directly above my head (about 30") with a large AB softbox. The other was 45 degrees and 48" behind my right, at shoulder height with a 10 degree grid to light up my right shoulder.
Cheers, Johnny

Johnny,
Nice self. I like the fad to black background on this 1... The nose adds caricature to this shot... How did you do the lighting set up?

Becky,
I forgot to add, It took me about four minutes to open, edit and post this photograph, the templates really help. I also have built several Camera Raw presets for colour control, that fits my style.
Cheers, Johnny

Becky,
I use Photoshop CS2 with Camera Raw 3.6.
I have pre built three frames for my postings here on usefilm.com, portrait, landscape and square. These three are proportioned to the size of the images directly from my Nikon D200. This makes it easy for me to shoot, edit and post quickly without having to crop. I shoot RAW only, make image adjustments with Camera Raw only, open one of the three templates and use the "place" command is CS2, then a "save as" JPG.
That's it, pretty fast process, for me.
Regards, Johnny

Patrick,
Right you are, no rhinoplasty for me, my wife would kill me if I tried to change my crooked nose.

No way with the nose idea, you don't want to look like that talentless freak...
