Been playing with this photo the past two days and just now figuring out that I have not even commented on it yet! (YINKS) Oh I feel so used. I said that to say this......Oh hell, I don't know what it was I was going to say!! I love it! Ata ata ata ata ata ata.....Ill be fine. Oh yeah that was it.....Playing with your photo. Again, sorry. Anyways.....I was going to say I really liked this photo. Also in it I saw something that I knew you were not able to control with not having any good program to edit and process with. So now you know the rest of the story. It happened again with your other photo and I cant think of the title but its the one I just commented on. these two photos I have had that same strong urge to break copyright laws on. (YINKS) Damn it! I knew I was sinning!!! By the way have you looked at this image in B&W Michele? Looks really great! When I started processing I added more noise sadly to say and there was already enough so I ran it through neat image and I really like the effect it gave trying to re correct the image! lol You may not feel the same but I thought you might like to see what awful unlawfull activities I've been up too.......HA! So....I'll Play some more with the other to see what happens.......This one was really great fun! Thanks! Great moody shot with good motion effect.
Congrats!

Its very interesting image.. and yes I think i could imagine the sand blow that you described... how could you take image in such windy weather standing still ( without getting sand in your eyes) ? Impressive... It looks wonderful...! -Pradnya

It is amazing what wind can do. I was on the 3rd floor of a hotel buuilding hanging out the window .. and this was the only way I could manage to get this shot because the sand was much to high! I appreciate your comment Peter. Michele~

Yeah amazing what wind can do .. i remember 2 consecutive storms of 100+ km/hour, some years ago .. we went out to the beach, but it was hardly possible to stay as the sand blew up terribly high, let alone to take photos .. on your shot one sees the sand in motion, and the sea is white with foam .. Wow, quite an image. When I first viewed this photo without reading the about I thought you had created the blowing sand by panning the camera while pressing the shutter release button. The sea didn't blur, and I was wondering how you accomplished that.
Then I read the about and saw that it was not an effect you created, but the wind was blowing the sand. This must be the incomming storm you warned us about.
