Excellent !! Very beautiful purple colour, great lighting and details. Similar to you, I also like to use desk lamp for lighting, but my 5700 can only work with f8 aperture, so I love the deep DOF of this work very much.

The details are exquisite, and the colors of the roses sublime. I don't know...but if this was tweaked in an editing program...good for you in crafting a beautiful photo. If not...well, fantastic work either way. :)
Lighting and details are wonderful and the textures 'touchable'.
