The filter system use consists of a Cokin P type holder (85mm width) and a rectangular resin filter. Don't bother with the screw on type as they are non adjustable. The resin filter I have is made by Hitech. Although the Hitech filter is not really neutral, it's much better than the Cokin brands.
I should have purchased "Singh Ray" brand filters before doing my long trip as they are almost neutral. see http://www.singh-ray.com/grndgrads.html

I can see now I've been missing the boat by not having a neutral gradient filter in my kit, Aaron. What a great balance for lighting and just deepening the sky's tones. SCORE!
Is this a screw-on or glass slide filter?
