About	Another one in the melted candle series. Selective desaturation to leave the illuminated part of the candle coloured, some toning all over to warm it up, lots of burning in at the edges.

This really does a good job of eliminating scale. It could be huge.

Thanks, Daniel. I used a bit of selective sharpening to try and bring out the details of the "face".

Thanks, Andre. We had put a couple of candles out in front of the fireplace. The extra heat really made a mess of the candles, but made for a pretty good subject. I'm not completely happy with the overall lighting, but I've kept the candle and might try some posed shots with it. This one reminds me a bit of one of those velvet "black light" posters they used to sell.
