I'm still looking for his comments, always there, taken for granted.....I still remember how proudly he showed us his completed studio and again we took it for granted......And then, suddenly, he went away, leaving us all wondering:WHAT is life??????

It is such a terrible loss. Your lone bloom with its lovely colours and dancing edges is a beautiful tribute to Rashed. The darker bottom represents the sorrow of his loss. The brighter top shows how the sorrow will someday be replaced by happy memories. Well done.

My heart is heavy with the loss of this gifted young man Galal and although he told me of his incurable condition some months ago and that his life would be a short one I had hoped that it would have been longer than this. He never once complained about his condition and he just made a passing reference to it in an email to me; he was completely reconciled to his eventual fate. I will miss his friendship and his photographic talents. He was such an enthusiastic member of UF always in with many comments and regular contributions. I was so happy for him when his studio was completed and that he enjoyed this end part of his life to the full.
He will be sorely missed and long remembered; your dedicated floral tribute is very beautiful my good friend. Thank-you Galal. Ray
