Simply the wide variation in the quality and settings of computer monitors can dramatically alter our view of photography...which should moderate our critiques of photographic issues such as saturation, contrast, noise....etc

Not sure what you mean by that last...'reviewing technical aspects that are highly influenced by technology'...

Never upset....enjoy the battle...I'm curious if you agree with my point about reviewing technical aspects that are highly influenced by technology

I love the photo, but you asked for the 'bickering' to begin again, so I obliged. Glad you are not upset.:)

I'm happy to be bad...however here's an example of what I discussed on the paddlewheel...while there is an ever so silght tilt which I did not catch.. the composition conveys a real feeling of the the band and the setting. I generally review photos for their content and unless there's some really glaring technical fault that really detracts I don't cooment on technical aspects. This is really true involving hue, saturation, contrast & noise. These factors are highly influenced by the technology being used to view them. I've gotten involved in lots of arguements about monitors their quality their capability to be tuned etc. Therefore, how other people view our work is probably not how we see it...BTW I've enjoyed the spirited debate....keep it up

Well captured, Larry...again, a slight tilt correction to the right needed...

A neat perspective on the band, Larry, and the lighting really adds atmosphere to the shot.
Dave.
