you are right Nick! modern life is changing the face of cities so rapidly which there is not any moment to have a sit and a review on our memories! but you've showed what we have already forgot perfectly! bravo dear!

I love them too, Nessa! To me they feel like places where one can take refuge.
Many thanks for your nice comment,

To nom place outside but to the inner calmness, peace with one's self, perhaps? I can always notice how my steps slow down, when I walk my way to the university through such narrow passages. Time seems to flow on a very "comfortable" rhythm there. But that mystery remains, that can touch somebody very very strongly.
Thank you very much Annemette. Keep well!

Haha I think we had similar thoughts today when posting our photos, Nick:-) It really is wonderful being in the old parts of a town and finding the little narrow passages where life calms down. There is also something mysterious about those small passages, secret gateways leading to...what? Take care, Annemette
