Hello Mark- thanks for explaining. Poetry without words your images. So, is the circular symbol the phoenix - death and rebirth? I'd see that on an individual level, as you say- the courage and selflessness of people rescuing. Politically, like you, I would be skeptical about everything the media tells us! The selectivity means we would never know. Given about 1% of things! So could be either to me. What an image to have us thinking!

Hi Mary, Yes this is the follow up to the flag picture. I didn't name it only because I had put 9 stars in it and had the 2 towers. Which I hope graphically said 9/11.
Actually sat down with the seed package and stared at it for a while to come up with that. I knew I wanted to do something like this, the water and sky really were beautiful and the cloud's were perfect at that moment I think. Kept on thinking of anyone who ran in there to help someone else. For me I kept on thinking of a Phoenix when I did this.
I have to ask you said bombed, does this mean you don't agree with the US statement that fire and the planes brought them down?
Let's just say I am highly skeptical.

Stunning and as Casey says, very powerful. I see so much in it. The reflections and the sky so strong. The explosive light at the top. And the circular symbols. (If you get a min please tell me the significance and it is the flag?!) "2006" comes to mind. The contrasts so ironic- all the capitalist advancement symbolised by the buildings that were bombed. I'll stop ranting now!
