i think that this shot is awesome!!!
i had a lot of sun that day and it was nearly impossible to cut it out, but yours looks so deep as if there was fog between the columns!
i was in auschwitz in december and everything looked as angry (i don't know if it's the right word?) as the weather on your photo!
it gives such a good expression!
( i had to take a dictionary for this comment=)
i love this memorial and i think i spent 20 minutes going around and wondering!

When I read your comment, I just couldn't resist myself but to comment on this picture because when I first saw it, I thought EXACTLY the same thing about similar photos! I guess great minds really do think alike. However, I must also say that I actually prefer your composition and shadows over mine. Congrats, it's a really gorgeous shot!

Hi angie, I do think this new image is simpler and more powerful. But of course it's just my taste, I prefer uncomplicated images usually. Why not submit it and see what others think?

Good work. Angie, can I suggest an alternative version -cropping the frame to just above the woman's head and losing the car. The sense of depth is increased and the lines and shadow become more prominent.
