Well said in these comments......I hate interfering too much with PS and much prefer to post what I have taken. Cropping and levels is about it for me. I do admire photoart work though, where people creatively blend images together; This is not the same as trying to improve shots with digital manoeuvres.

I love this simplistic composition of yours my dear Jessie and there is an air of becalmed as well as the foggy atmosphere. Well seen and captured sweetie. All the very best.....Ray

I feel the same jessie. thank you for the name, ian cameron..he sounds familiar. I will check him out and read his philosophy since i feel about the same. Digital is fun, but not reality. I guess I am into photography for the reality. I can't count the times I have comments about using PS for this or that ... i have one picture further up the siletz river that is not a level house. the roof is falling ... but it was a fake or whatever you call it for a movie... 'all I heard was level the roof, over + over, I kept saying but the roof is falling ... i should 'change it for the sake of a better picture ?' when this is not how it really is ... (?) anyhow I left it as it is , falling....
thank You sorry for all the bla, bla, bla
michele~

michele - thanks. i am pretty much a purist when it comes to fixing digital images. i'll crop (and sometimes lighten on occasion) but that's about it. i want my eye to see things, not my computer. does that make sense? the best philosophy i've read of this is ian cameron, here on usefilm. if you go to his pix, they are so incredible. his website off UF has his philosophy. when i read it, i thought to myself, he wrote down what i truly believe.

thank you!!

Hi jessie,
i respect you leaving this photo as is...or so it seems. at times i try too hard to make it something it is not because i live basically in fog or wind... and because it is 'popular' right now . . . to manipulate pictures. personally i don't mind enhancing them ... but i really like them to be pretty much as they are .

Good shot and great image.
Michele~
