It seems to me that the keys here are fill light in the face and a more, well, to be honest, pleasant expression to fill. I think you get even a good fill card or light disc on the right side, bounce some light into her face, and get her to relax and smile a little... maybe quarter-turn her to her left a bit and bring the exposure down slightly so not as much of her hair gets blown out, and you have a winner.

Hi, My thoughts on this photo, I think having the shot of the model straight on doesn't do her much justice. Aside from the light on her hair, the lighting isn't interesting. I think you can still coach her and talk to her to make her a bit more relaxed, she seems tense.

Pretty girl. I like the use of backlighting from the sun on the girls hair. The exposure seems spot on through out. The pose is a little bit static in my honest opinion. Your choice in depth is perfect. Very good capture.

Hi Antonio,
Ok...Where to begin. There are a few things I see with this shot.
First off, You have an attractive model. The composition is a little blah. I think you could have done a few things different.
One, Spin her around, have the sun at your back. That would eliminate the Strong Shadows on her face and lose the over bright Sun in her hair.
She is in a bikini so, I would have had the remove the Shorts. They seem a bit tight and are squeezing her thighs a bit much.
I would have had her in a different pose as well, one that doesn't make her look like ok....hurry up this water is cold. And Lastly, A bit of Facial expression would have gone a long way in this shot. I hope I don't seem to over the top. Keep it up! Kind Regards Sam Graziano III

I'm not an expert on portraits by any means... but here is my feedback:
The backlighting is what makes this shot interesting, but even still a bit of fill flash would get rid of some of the shadows that detract from the face etc and would allow the exposure time to be a bit less, reducing the overexposure of the hair. The dof is good, setting is fantastic, but the pose I think is lacking, she doesn't look comfortable - like she has been caught off guard. Maybe it would be as simple as doing something with her arms to fix this.
Anyway food for thought :)
