Thank you for the comments.. Good eye.. I did use Picasa. I had four versions of this picture and thought the color looked the best.. was trying to bring more focus to the gun and felt I needed color on the hand as the gun itself was dark.. but I would rather have left the color off of the face.. also, more even distribution of the color on the hand might've helped.. I'll have to look at some other software.. thank you.

I like the blur you put on this but I'm not sure why you went for the bit of color on the gun and hand. I would've left it as a straight b&w. If you really wanted the color you should try to focus it more on one object instead of the circle. May not have been possible with the tool you were using (Picasa?) but I would definetly recommend, if you're going to use effects like this, a tool (such as photoshop) that would give you more control.

Ah my kind of photo being a shooter I would have cropped it in more and kept the blur from his face but I can see that you were focusing on the rifle hope he has fun with it Tracey..
