Right on Dave, a very interesting shot! You are having the same "not enough telephoto" problem when it comes to birds. It is worth the drop in quality to see this remarkable plummage. Eb

Hi Dave, This reminds me of one of the funniest unintentional comments I've ever read on Usefilm.
Darlene Boucher, who is a fantastic bird photographer, as you know, posted a superb image of a Wood Duck. The image was absolutely faultless. She titled it "Wood Duck".
The first comment that came in actually said... "This image is so good that I thought it was a "real" duck!"
Darlene had explain that it was a real duck :)

Considering the amount of action to freeze in this Dave I think you have done a first rate job of work. It looks sharp enough to me and the details are perfectly clear. Wonderful colours to these unusual ducks and a great title for the shot. Well done to you my friend......I'm still trying to catch up....Very best wishes....Ray

It is interesting, Dave, and a nice capture. When we first moved to Bellingham 23 years ago, we saw wood ducks with some frequency. I haven't seen one in a very long time. I miss them. Thanks for bringing me these two. Steve
