The photo is natural window light. The image had more room towards the top that became lighter with the white wall. This crop version was made to concentrate more on Veronica. Ray, yes I do like my D30. I bought it right when it came out. It has great features and one being that all you exposure/setting information can be checkled on every photo on your compture which has helped me in thinking why I did something and how I can improve in the future. But I have also taken the D60 for a spin. Very similar in most functions but the extra pixels help. It also has better focusing in low light which is a little draw back of the D30. So for $200 more you say, I would buy the D60. I think the D30 is discontinued or will be. You will enjoy this camera. I hope this helped. Good luck with your choice and lets see more photographs. Keep shooting. Alberto

Very nice portait of you Daughter, just a little underexposed in the top right. I have the same A-1 Canon and tripod head. I love that A-1. I was thinking abought getting the D30 or D60, I think think the only difference is the pixels, and $200.00. Are you pleased with the D30? Or should i go for the pixels in the D60. Regards Ray.
