Very dramatic desert scene. The wide angle works well here... love it!! I've seen your portfolio and you have some fantastic images! A pleasure to view! Best wishes, Brigitte

No problem, perspective correction is pretty easy.Open the image in PS. I use CS2 but I believe the method is the same in earlier versions but I dont know about PS elements. 1 select the entire image using the select menu 2 open the edit menu, go to transformations then click on perspective. 3 there will appear a small box at each corner and in the middle of each edge. For your image grap either of the top corner boxes and pull it away from the image, right for the right corner or left for the left corner. The center box can be used to lean the image one way or the other. When you are done click on any other tool and then accept or reject the change via the pop up box. I suggest you play with each box in each direction to see what effect they all have. FYI you will lose a bit of the image. have fun playing. JB

Thank you so much for your comment. I totally agree that the cactus should be verticle. If you have time would you please explain how you corrected that distortion using photoshop. Thank you.

CK1 - Simply stunning tones on this! However, since you are in the critique's corner... The problem with this is the convergence of verticle lines due to looking up with a wide angle lens. There are 3 solutions, by a 35 mm camera that has a wide angle lens with a shift (rare & $$$), but a view camera that will let you shift the lens or - photoshop it. Thats what i did to your image. The cactus really should be verticle and I think it looks like you saw it in your mind. Still a stunning shot. John B
