The stark white agaisnt the deep blue sky looks just grand. looking through the tree branches is a very effective element.

Great composition Larry. I love the rich green and blue and the gnarled trunk and branches of the tree. Well done you. Larry Q reckons you are getting the hang of it, I agree. I've been taking pics for nearly 50 years on and off and I still don't know what I'm doing at times. At least I've stopped leaving the lens cap on these days, thank goodness fot ttl focusing:):):) 'See' you again soon (lovely pair of green birds next to this one, well done on them as well)......Ray

Different perspective, Larry. The tree lookd like it is wrapping it's branches around the light house. The gnarled old wood would look evil on a cloudy, wet day. Cheers, Ann.

Nice with white, blue and dark grey. I like those colours .... bold and nice. With the branches in the foreground we get a good feeling of the towers hight.
