About This interesting hoodoo formation looks like the earth making a fist to my eyes. This combined with the clouds framing it suggested an image of the earth giving us a warning - hence the title.

Thanks for the comments Steve. I've always liked this shot but wondered what I was missing when few people checked it out, and no one was commenting on it. I wondered if it was too dark (though if I lighten it the clouds lose their impact). So to know that there is at least one other photographer that found some visual impact in this image is heartening.

It is a very powerful image, Dennis. To me it's more like looking at the end of the club wielded by the ape at the beginning of "2001: A Space Odyssey".
It's a great effect!
