About This house, owned by an elderly man, burned down only a few days before this picture. So many areas of the remaining structure seemed to be screaming stories and asking questions: poking at my curiosity. I found this airplane sitting just as it is in the picture. It's amazing what is lost through disaster, and even more so what survives.

Absolutely wonderful. For this type of shot, nothing could've been better. I like the idea that you focused on the survival of the house, and not the fact that it is just another disaster. You brought it to life. excellent work!

The short DOF and selective area in focus really work to bring the plane out; it's a great composition.

What a strong image. I love the way you finished the edges of the print. It works very well with the imagery. Great DOF.
