But it's not a "weak" photo - just needs a little attention. The details in this drake are great and the reflection in the water is very good also. Hope I wasn't too critical for you.

you know what, i haven't looked at this photo for almost 2 weeks since i originally cropped it and i agree with you 100%
i didn't even look at the photo when i uploaded it today haha, but yeah, the crop has to be fixed without a doubt.
thanks for the big critique i really wasn't expecting something so big from such a weak photo

Firstly let me say that this is a great shot of a Mallard drake. You have wonderful colour and feather detail! Now you may tell me to go "duck myself" (LOL) but IMHO here's what I truly think of this photo. The crop is too much to the right, it's almost like you just about missed this shot. I would have liked to see more negative space in front of the duck rather than behind it. Also the angle of the photo makes it look like the duck is about to fall out of the photo. If you can recrop it and rotate it a few degrees clockwise I personnaly think it would make a "Super" photo.

I'm glad you gave in. I'm surprised you resisted - the most attractive light is often immediately after the sun has set. A mundane image can be quite spectacular with the right light. I'm sure your image would not have been so attractive mid afternoon. I look forward to seeing more. Well done.

I love this one, many of your images are pretty interesting, but I really love this one. In here th sun really appears as a star and the plane is so fantastic...i like plenty of "empty" sky all around..it seems so neverending and have no odea where the plane flies.
