I was in such a hurry to leave lengthy comments I did not see this one. I like it a lot. [To me] It looks like he's squinting, he's trying to see you instead of being upset. I wanted to apologize. I agree with your statement on humility. You're one of the few people I can say I believe has authentic humility. I hope you have a good day.

Sincerely,
Nicole

This pic scares me. It sends a message to me of individuality being severed, that we are all just dummy dolls. [I might be reading too much into it, but did you ever have a sister with a porcelain doll? I had three sisters with each of myself included owning such a terrifying doll. At night I would have to not look at mine, it scared me so much. One last thing- I don't know for sure so this is why I am asking & letting you know I have respect for you and anything you wish not to tell me. I also assure you I will not act like a school girl. Are the Parvin Dabas I think you are? I solemnly swear never to ask such a question and let you keep things of a personal nature to yourself. But if so I must say you are a very well-rounded individual.

It's Nemo & Nemo's a girl. I apologize but even adults have watched Finding Nemo four or five times.

Sincerely,
Nicole

I really enjoy this picture. I like all of its movement and the purple and red tones [hues]. I was schooled in the "principles of art" but sometimes identifying those parts ruins the picture. But I can't help but to say I admire your use of distance. The beachfront buildings are a comfort to me as I grew up in Hawai'i [O'ahu]. (I know reside in San Antonio, TX- big culture shock) There was a similiar strip in Honolulu bordering Waikiki Beach. It ran a few miles until it ended at the Diamond Head Crater. Both are very beautiful. I love when a piece of art can stir up memories, just like good food that reminds you of home. I'm sorry if I have talked too much. I tend to do that. I'll make this last part brief- as far as I could tell you use two women for as your models. Do you know them very well? And if yes do you believe it possible for a picture to come out differently when a photographer is working with something/someone he/she is familiar with? Do you as a photographer find excellent pictures because you have an open mind & heart, an intelligence for these things, or are they mostly familiar settings that you can show the most intimate details of to your audience? If you get a chance I would love to hear a response. Otherwise I can assure I don't usually type this much. I hope you have a good day. Your words on humility strike me as unusual because not too many people see things as clearly as you seem to. Alright well have a good one.

Sincerely,
Nicole [the Newbie]

I love pictures of children especially when they are able to be their care-free selves. Is the third child from the left pausing (because they [I can't identify gender]seem to be stopped perhaps intrigued with a shoe? I could have it all wrong. I like it, it makes me remember the happier parts of my childhood. I look forward to leaving you another comment soon. Take Care.

Sincerely,
Nicole

What I especially enjoy is that if you look at the silhouettes they are actually facing us. The adult's shoes can sort of be seen as if they are facing me. I think at first, the viewer interprets the picture as if the boy is walking away. All-around grade A work. It's amazing how your mind works. Now I'm brand new I joined today so I'm not sure what I'm actually allowed to say. Never the less, I will be back online to look at your work.

Have a good day,
Nicole
