Alright in response to everyone:
I took the comments regarding oversaturation mildly as I personally favored the richer colours. I felt this way until this afternoon when I got a chance to view my images on a calibrated monitor and see them how everyone else sees them.
I'm actually a bit embarrassed to have let all of these images slide out of pc without me realizing how different they looked. Most of my other photos aren't as affected as this one so I'll leave them be.
I'll be trying to save up for a new monitor as this POS's not worth salvaging.

As you said perhaps it's not photographically correct, but I like the light and shadows contrast....I like it

Thanks for the comment, and I see what you mean. I'll try and fix it and perhaps repost.
Looking again, I can even see artifacts which I guess I missed before.

Yeah, the shadows work for me along with the light. My only crit would be that you over-saturated it. That's the only thing that sprang to my mind when I first saw this. Great work though1

Thank you very much for the comment. I used a flash for fill-in later on in the shoot but the harsh shadows on her face were actually what we were going for on this particular shot even though it's not photographically correct.
thank you again

Dear Justin wonderful image, Luv the POV and the BG however, the shadows on the lady's face could have been avoided by using a fill in .

ahh weddings eh.. good luck with that then... mate i know no other sensor size.. I went from 35mm film to the Kodak DCS Pro 14N which has a 35mm sensor and so does the 5D..

yeah I've been out of the loop for awhile, trying to hop back in and it seems the money's in weddings around my area, thought I'd give it a shot(not quite sure it's for me).
I noticed you're shooting the 5D. How do you like the full-frame cmos? I've heard many mixed reviews.
