Thanks Carmen! I prefer this one as well, but I put both up because frankly, I can't stand my self-portraits. I just can't trust my own judgment on them.

However, I do like the shape and color of this image.

Thanks for the comment Mike. This is the TeckCominco metal processing plant in Trail BC. I believe it is the largest of its type in the world, and it really defines the landscape of the town.

What do I think? Holy crap... that's pretty much it. I love Glacier National Park, and I love the way you have captured its essence. Well done!

Thanks Bahram, I have taken several fog shots, and the way the fog affects and diffuses the light always amazes me.

I'll have to take your word for it. Unfortunately, the only thing I know about plants is whether or not I want to shoot them, and I'm really not too sure about that.... so poisonous potato vine it is! Thanks for the comment.

Very nice, sharp shot. It is rare when the natural balance of light/dark/action line up this way. Well-captured.

Interesting shot. There is movement and great color balance, but you might want to put those dishes away!

Kudos!

Great shot. If it wasn't for the birds, I would be inclined to think it was a Geiger painting!

Wow, very moody and interesting shot. I like the dark nature of the subject and the way you've captured the reflection. Very nice.

I like the idea and execution of the shot. I think you are trying to capture the frustration and taxing nature of travel (especially by plane) through pose and expression alone. I think all went well. However, the one thing that stands out as out of place is the heavy make-up on your model. A plainer look, maybe hair in a pony-tail would have made the shot more interesting and evocative of the scene. However, I may be off base here, so ignore me if I missed the point.
