Magnificent image Mitchell!

Everything about it is fantastically composed; I wouldn't even have noticed the family was imported if Yigal didn't point that out hehe!

It may seem to be a little over done by a few, but I see it more as a dream. You have your own unique vision and I congratulate you on a job very well done!

Great shot Anselmo. Its quite difficult to get a good angle and compose these drops the best way possible, but you've managed it quite well, the shodow helps emphasize the drops on the leaf too.

I posted an image today similar to yours, please let me know what you think.

Kindest regards,

Lance

great work Kent. I went to the motor show myself this year. Take a lot at my image "Red Ferrari" I think you'll like it

I like the long exposure effect you've used to enhance the cars interest.

Beautifully captured silhouette! Everything about it comes out perfectly, with the red sunset, and depth of field. It all fits together nicely. Magnificent!

Great selective colouring Brian. It captures attention along the depth of field with a great perspective.

I'd like to know how you achieved the framing effect making the picture look like its coming out of the screen.

A very dark and gloomy concept Guy. Excellent tones and composition! I also like the repetition of windows appearing along the roof, a great depth of field

Great shot Todd, a difficult capture they are. I've had an attempt myself not long ago with Bees in my garden. I'm surprised I wasn't stung at all hehe! =D

Great tones you've captured Salvo! I really like the beams of light travelling across the top of the image.

I suggest it needs a little more light and it would be perfect, but nonetheless I like it!

I like the concept Stephanie, although I think it would have looked a lot more dramatic if it was only the rose and red drops in the frame.

Just a question... Are you trying to attempt selective colouring? Because if you are, there?s an easier way to achieve this effect.

Using Photoshop, click on 'Image' then 'Adjustments' and then 'Desaturate'. Then by using the history brush tool, draw the colour back into the image as if nothing was changed.

I have used the same effect on one of my images called 'Red Ferrari'. Check it out if you like.

Nice concept Claude, although I find there's too much clutter in the foreground of this image, and the horizon seems to be on a slight angle as well.

On the plus side, I like the idea and use of B&W.

Interesting capture, I like the fact you understand the physics behind light; I studied physics in high school, and loved every bit of it.

Light really is a fascinating part of the universe

Nice tones and composition, although I don?t find the mood very sad, rather just in a deep thought or extremely tired of a long day.

I do like it though, especially the Chinese / Japanese (forgive me if I'm wrong) symbols and bordering.

Great self-portrait!

Excellent angle and composition. I suggest the image could have been a little brighter, it seems a little too dark, but other than, great expression on the girls face.

David, this is an interesting capture with fantastic tones and great composition. You can almost make out other images with this abstractly cut piece of wood.
