It is a great effect. I think I would want to move in close to capture better the texture that the moving water will impart to the objects beyond.

The squiggly thing in the background makes it interesting. It'd be better if his eyes were visible. Or maybe not

A very nice capture! The composition is excellent even thought you did not get option for the right perspective, but you got the accurate moment! It’s getting like a water-colour painting! It’s indeed a magnificent shot!
Well done: Maxime

the sunrise has such calm affection for an otherwise industrial scene, and you captured that. this is why the window seat is worth it

Dear Megan,

Please allow me to propose the attached by cropping almost to a square 6 x 6 Medium Format type of composition concentrating on placing both towers at the rule of thirds each with sign of course gone as requested by another.

Wasn't boring as you presented and definitely not boring now by my expertise ) ... Yes/No?

Thanks for sharing and Best of Regards!

P.S. B&W was this image's destiny with the 'Soup' rolling in and all ...

Nothing special!?!
Very well-shot, well-lit and well-posed. A natural self-portrait can be a difficult thing to achieve. I (along with many others here) have yet to pull it off this well. Pat yourself on the back and keep shooting!

Very nice shot Megan. The textures on the tarmac and the sun on the horizon really set the mood.

Man, what a town. Compared to down south, there are more people who get along in peace in SF than in any other place in CA, IMHO. Can't seem to get tired of seeing the old bridge.

First impression was "what a fun shot" When it's that, a lot of it is successful in a photograph.

I used to do light studies at music festivals and the like. This definitely looks rave-ish and rock music on a more alternative take.

I don't mind the water drops...shows that it was taken from inside the plane...yet, it still really turned out beautiful. Pretty scene and looks like great weather for flying! Well done, Megan

Well you were right it is pretty, and i know that challenge of in plane shots, they always look so good but that darn window takes all its glory. it is also a very peaceful shot and works well with the airport

Hi Megan...I love your self photos.Even the one that is supposed to be boring.(It must not be that boring because it has collected over 150 hits)I like this photo because it is surreal. It looks other worldly with the pose of the water and the red lens flare to the left...........Rick
