Okey dokey, Honey Bourbon syrup recipe (Doyle, take notes):
Step 1. (very important, so pay close attention!!) Open a bottle of bourbon.
Step 2. Place a small amount of honey *next to* the open bottle of bourbon.
Step 3. Place a drinking vessel of your choice, filled with ice, on the other side of the open bottle of bourbon - opposite the honey (also very important!)
Step 4. With the bottle of bourbon already opened, gently pick it up and pour over ice in your vessel. You'll find 3 seconds is the standard length for a bourbon pour.
Step 5. Down the hatch, salute!

Oh my Lord, that's quite a crowd building up. All those hopeful faces! I'm certain Gene will be over the moon when he comes home to this wonderful greeting.

Shirley, thanks so much for swinging by! Lovely to hear from you and I'm delighted you enjoyed Gene's travels in NZ. Certainly he's safe and it won't be long before Doyle ships him off to you I'm sure.
