Absolutely beautiful. It almost resembles the tucks and folds of a heavy robe, as on Greek and Roman sculptures! I would be tempted to camp out right here for 24 hours, just to watch the changing light over these beautiful rock/sand (?) formations.

Güzel çıkmak!

Best wishes,

Alexandra

Almost as impressive as the birds in flight is how that huge puff of snow manages to balance on the far narrower fence post! Beautiful work!

Kind regards from Arctic Wisconsin,

Alexandra

I think of this one more as art than journalistic photography. I obviously pulled up the colors--if they sky were actually this color, I think I'd be a little terrified! But the sky was certainly a canvas that afternoon, and I found myself gazing outside pretty much constantly at work.

Greetings,

Alexandra

Ooh, I've been there: isn't it spectacular? I like the uneven cloud cover in your photograph. In my album I have a photo entitled "Man in the Rock" which was taken in the crags behind the Cathedral right here. Take a look if you'd like!

Best wishes,
Alex

Ha, there's a lot of humor in this one, as well as a strong statement, I think. Lovely work!

Don't mind if I do! I could well imagine spending an afternoon on that bench... lovely shot!

Schönes Foto. Die kiesige Beschaffenheit fügt der künstlerischen Qualität hinzu. Mir fehlt CJ's!

This photograph has an almost surreal quality. Beautiful. I have really enjoyed your "Puertas y Ventanas" album.

Beautifully captured and a hilarious concept: I like the detail of using a brown egg instead of a white one. Such a simple idea that really works!

You should add this to the humor category, if you haven't already.

Ahhh, I've seen that waterfall several times. You've certainly done its beauty justice in this capture. We got some splendid shots from that location in early November, when the trees looked like beautiful yellow lanterns and there was a fog hanging low. Columbia River Gorge is spectacular, isn't it?

I have some Portland photos in my bunch--feel free to check them out!

I find it's usually the gorillas that look the most depressed in captivity. Certainly an evocative shot with a strong statement. I wish more zoo directors could see that.

I'm trying to determine if this photo is a water reflection, taken on a foggy day, or just some cool halo camera effect. Either way, it's awesome. Prosit Neujahr!

Just wanted to remind you that the Cliffs of Moher are on the west coast of Ireland, not Norway.

I know because I've been there and emptied an entire roll of film capturing these fantastic and misty rocks. Nicely captured! (Do they have more of a guard rail these days? It was pretty trecherous when I was there...)

I must say I prefer Star's edited version below: it's just a little darker so you can see more clearly what is being photographed. I enjoy the striking black frame that Star added to bring out the trunk and [horses?] too. But I see why you took the photo; it's a beautiful scene. Makes me wish I were there.

The distribution of the windows in conjunction with the Fachwerk lines on the house is almost whimsical! Good eye!
