I like the darkness in this image...seems so appropriate for a grave yard shot.
The grain to the stones is perfect as well.

Thi is really a good image - mystery and a liitle bit of ... kind of scares me - those trees are intimidating -- I like this . K

Love the DOF you used here, as it really brings out the flowers. Also find the color of the background makes it easier to see details in the flower. It would be nice if you could have gotten a little closer to get some of the details inside the flower. Keep up the great work.
p.s. Thanks for your comment for 'under the tree' and I posted a b&w version, so go have a look.

hey dude, nice to see you around still

i added the grain intentionally, as it definately helps to achieve the mood and elements i was going for.

thanks for the comments, guys.

'sup, buddy?

Very graphic/pictoral moreso than a photograph to me, this has a sketchlike quality. Cool and applicable! Is the harsh graininess from a really high speed film, or did you add it intentionally?

Great atmosphere John. A little bit spooky, but just the right mood for a graveyard. Nice composition too!

Ahh HAAA !!!! But then again another reason to go digital !!! (Bought a Mamiya-Secor 500 DTL 35mm SLR in 1973 for the preparation of the arrival of my first child... came home from the hospital the day of his birth with a filmless camera......) Kinda like playing air guitar, I guess....
