You know it is a great capture when you say to yourself gee I wish that was mine.

Great shot!

This is the newly remodeled and reopened 1916 wing of the Cleveland Museum of Art. The restoration is a work of art in itself.

Best regards

This is a very good exposure because that is a difficult lighting situation.

Nice work, I have to politely disagree about more body less hands. The central theme is hand painting so that is what should be featured.

This was shot in the recently restored 1916 wing of the Cleveland Museum of Art. The restoration is very impressive.

I like how this is rendered - The color, grain and the window work very well together.

Nice work

Lovely - Great background and nothing like high cirrus clouds for the perfect sunset.

A very nice presentation

This looks like a lot of work. Very well done and executed. It looks like twelve excellent individual shots. I have to be honest the flood filter sends it way over the top for me. The foreground is way to busy and distracts from the main element which is the spilling glasses. More is not necessary better in all cases. Still all in all a nice idea.

Best regards

This is from a series of 18" x 24" posters I have produced titled "Doors Of The Dead". I already have uploaded one poster here and will upload the rest in time. This door is from a tomb and was shot in Mayfield Cemetery in Cleveland Heights Ohio. The posters are a series of tomb doors such as this one.

This was shot on a raining July day which really helped set off the colors and stains on this sandstone tomb. This is the first of the individual doors shots that I've posted here.

These doors were shot in the Fall of 2005. As you can tell it was just after Halloween.

Thanks

Just a little background on this posting. This was shot in Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland Ohio. As cemeteries go it is quite famous. President Garfield's tomb is there plus many famous people such as John D Rockefeller and Elliot Ness to name a few.

I've shot this same scene three winters in a row and this is the first one that I'm satisfied with. Which go to show that one has to keep plugging away at certain scenes because conditions mean everything.

Thanks everybody for you wonderful comments.

I've made another edit. I changed the white boarder to a light gray and added a thin black boarder (two pixels) around each door picture. It added a touch of separation to each frame and I think it makes it work better.

I posted the B&W version here earlier in the year. What I'm found is that people seem to like the color version better. Truth is I like them both though I have yet to make print of this version.

Thanks

Well I have already changed this. I've moved the bottom middle photo to the lower left hand frame and moved that one to the middle position. It's a better balance and I'm not so sure about the top right frame photo I'm might change that too. I can't update it here so if your interested it's posted on my site.

Yes the flowers were shot with a studio setup with stand lights.

This is a reworking of this posting. The original was white with black lettering. I reversed it and it works much better.
Thanks for the comments.

These were shot in Lake View and Mayfield Cemeteries in Cleveland Ohio. I have enough shots to do two of these. I'm finding it kinda hard to pick which shot should go where so in the long run the order of doors might change.

I have to say that I was disappointed when I went to this location this year to find this tree had recently fallen over the falls and stuck there. Though in retrospect it made for a different view.
