The lighting is really great, especially in the reflections in the water. God, I miss Hoi An.

I love pics of old cars. The angle and the exposure is very nice. I'm a bit distracted by the large black area at the right upper corner, as if the pic was ripped. Additionally, the stone wall in the back appears to have been digitally blurred. Sorry if I come off as picky. Just trying to be constructive.

Why didn't you get stitches? After 9 days, it should be a lot more healed up than this.

I really like the composition, depth of field and spontaneity of this pic. Nicely done. Only complaint is that the guy looks mildly out of focus. Maybe a less shallow depth of field.

Nicely done. I love the composition with the empty space off to the right and the gentleman looking off to the left. The shallow DOF works well.

I really like this pic. The cropping and contrast is amazing. Only thing that distracts me is that the right forehead and cheek. It looks too smooth, as if some of the texture or imperfections were edited out.

Very nice image. I like how the contrast and tones have come out. Only distracting element is the shadow in the foreground.

I'll just reiterate what Mary and Green have both said. Mary did a wonderful job with the PS editing (something I still have to figure out one day... help Mary!) Although the redo is good, I'm a fan of keeping her a bit off center.... maybe cropping some on the right to get rid of the structure. I love the lighting to left, and how the light comes in. The mood and look of the pic is wonderful, and the contrasting head wrap is a nice touch. I'm way too shy to get into someone's face for pics like this.

I like the composition and abstraction of this picture. Unfortunately, I find it too dark at the base with little contrast. I understand that a certain sense of mood and proportions is being created. Because of the lack of lighting at the bottom, the person is lost, and instead of being a point of interest, comes off more as a distraction. I think some more lighting would help. I hope this helps.

Nice. good lighting, nice model. Only suggest is to crop a bit at the top to get rid of whatever that is at the top.

Very nice portrait, but I'm distracted by the ambiguous eye contact. I wish he was either looking directly at the camera or further away.

Gorgeous storytelling in this pic Hai. I'm impressed. I'll be returning to vietnam in february with my Nikon D70. Got any advice on how to store my pics or recharge the battery?

Very nice color and capture, though I'm a bit distracted by the composition. I'm not sure what it is ... maybe that the point of interest is so central to the picture. I think following the rule of 1/3's may work better in this pic.

I agree with cropping it a bit on the left. Just a tad. Otherwise, I think its very original and sets a wonderful mood. I would opt for more of the nose actually.

though i think this pic has nice tones, I find it kinda flat. Some strategic lighting would greatly improve this pic.

Very, very well done. The lighting is perfect. The focus is wonderfully sharp. The pose is a bit precarious, but very nice.
