Paul, I understand what you are trying to get at here. I was there in November and I tried to do the same thing. I really think that it is impossible to capture the size of this cemetery from the ground. I think you did a very good job with this photo. -dan

if you use a sparkler you will get the small sparks flying off aswell, it would look quite good i think

Hi Paul -

Great idea - I have considered doing something like this. Ekroc - remember if you are using a laser not to point directly into the csmera - - not sure how likely it is - but it it's dangerous to your retina - it certainly couldn't be good for your CCD (assuming you use digital)

using a lasor maybe more tricky, the brighter spots you see on my shot are when the torch is pointing direct/nearly direct into the lens, a lasor is a lot stronger and maybe flood the lens with too much light, maybe use a filter or something.
