Wonderful shot! I like the closeness of the bird, and also the colours - only green and browns, so you focus on the colours themselves as well as the subject. Lovely!

But why would you want to post as an example of your work such a sad picture that's taken on such a joyous day for others? Were you not able to capture a happy moment at this wedding? The photo is nicely framed, but I think a happier one would be nicer. Also, I like the colouring. THe pink is a nice and artistic touch. Good luck to you,
Zoe

Well I took the photo in sepia tones, and then i used the PhotoSuite 5.5 that came with the Canon and applie the "Old Photo" effect under effects. it's pretty cool!

Hey seems that we share the same canon camera...This old bell sure has its own charm..the "old photo effect" adds to it...how did you do it?

Dear Jessica,

Oh, I almost forgot all computer screens have a different resolution. On mine the flower is purple and the vines are brown bentwood in color?

Dear Jessica,

Just remember we are not what we think we are, but what we think, is what we are!

Therefore to the extent in which you believe, that you are a great photographer it will come to pass. Paraphrased from the Holy Bible when Jesus spoke in parables to his disciples.

I like what you have done. and thank you very much on your comment to "toddling the shadows". right now I am attempting to make photography my living by starting a small in-home studio. So far so good, Id like to eventually expand it elsewhere, perhaps travel when my kids get older.

Dear Jessica,

?America? is the Home of the Free and the Brave. To bad most Americans don?t know how much freedom costs. Freedom has never been Free. Most don?t even give it a second thought, because they only focus on themselves and how they can climb to the top of the corporate ladder.

It wasn?t always this way, but the selfishness of our current society commands that we do unto others, before they do it to us. I?m not sure if there are any Patriot?s left out there in the corporate world at present? If Freedom hit?s there pocket book they bitch and complain, but they do nothing to correct the well being of others, or the Great Nation that we all live in?

Thank you for opening my heart and my eyes once again with your awesome capture. 7 +++++

Dear Jessica,

Junior League, what?s up with that? He will be in the Majors before you know it and with a face like that you had better keep a close eye on him, because all the girls will go wild over that boy? Not to mention he has many curls for all the girls?

Another awesome capture you have achieved my friend. 7 +++++

Dear Jessica,

A Beautiful Capture my friend?

Once again I hope you don?t mind, but I did a little PS work on this shot. I did change the natural color of the vines, because I thought they looked cool as darker colored bentwood sticks. The flower itself is just slightly enhanced from the original colors. I only sharpened the photo 1 click, as the 2nd made it too pixilated. Please tell me what you think of the PS work?

Dear Jessica,

Nice Capture?

I hope you don?t mind, but I cropped the framing a bit, then added just a touch of contrast to this photo. Please tell me what you think. Once again I hope you don?t mind my PS enhancements, but I need the practice in PS...

My Best to You and Your Babies,

Jr. Martin
