Sometimes, here at usefilm, strange things happened.
I did a comment, and then, at voice: image needing comment, i've found this picture...
First i love the square format;
Second, the direct contact with the water it's incredible;
then i love the grey tones and the clouds in the sky...
maybe you can put them just a little more withe and visible, working on the contrast, but it's my opinion.
The landscape it's so quite and moody...
It's sad to say , but sometime you can put just a nude-nonartistic photo and receive hundreds of contact...
For my this is a very very good pictures...

Terrific moody shot! The "in your face" water really makes the picture.

Peter, a lovely well contrasted B&W. The patterns make the photo work. Would have been nice to have engineered some stronger diagonals into the photo. Well done anyhow.

If you need information on a battery for a Yashica electro go to this page

http://homepage.mac.com/mattdenton/photo/cameras/yashica_gs n.html

Matt has a great page showing a battery fix, light seal fix, and he links to other good sites such as Yashica Guy's site. Enjoy

This picture is actually cropped... The original had the tractor dead center and a little bit of the roof of a building that distracted from the subject. Unfortunately since it was on posted land, plus I was using a rangefinder... I couldn't get in the best position to take the picture how it was in my head. I kind of wish I had my digital or my SLR with me. I took 3 pictures of the tractor, this was the most detailed version... snow had washed out the others.

I like this rather eclectic still life. Interesting assortment of objects and nice highlights on the books. I do find the glare on the the "Strokes" book somewhat distracting though. A good effort at true art, a rarity even on UF. Best wishes, Kurt
