So good to hear from you, I was hoping you would comment! 
Yes, they're getting huge!! We've been VERY busy... But the kdis keep on growing! Ethan has been crawling and standing for a while now... Abigail just started standing this last week... They both say something along the lines of "da" "dada" "dad" and once we heard "daddy" from Ethan... Now and then they'll do something that resembles "mama"
Pretty soon they'll be driving, at this rate!!
Thanks again! We're doing OK, like I said, busy... In the middle of trying to buy a house, etc. so it's been very hectic!

Wow! I can't believe more people haven't commented on this! This looks absolutely incredible to me!!! I love the low depth of field, the composition, the tones, the writing just sets it all off... this is truly a portrait of art! Excellent, excellent, excellent! I'd LOVE to see a series like this! You have a wonderful lil' model, too!

Wow, I REALLY like this, absolutely supurb! Excellent work, as always!
I love the feel of the openness of the street, it really has an old time atmosphere about it... The girl in the middle, to me, really adds an innocence to it as well... Really, a gorgeous portrait!

Oh my goodness, definitely my favorite of this series!! I really feel like there's interaction between myself and the subject, I love the "peeking" feel (hence the name I guess)... I am a sucker for horizontal crops anyway, but this is excellent! Oustanding job!

I did my regular conversion... B&W w/ channel mixer, 60/20/20... And then a curves adjustment layer where I do the color toning and contrast control. I pretty much just have it saved as an action and then control the curves to get the overall look I want after the toning is complete.

I use channel mixer in photoshop with +60 red, +20 green, +20 blue and monochrome to create a B&W base then use a saved curve I played with to get the brown toning, then curves from there... Usually I apply a layer of gaussian blur after that and erase around the eyes or features I want to retain sharpness to...
This shot was not necessarily one I expected to come out very good as it is a bit soft, but I still like it.

If you use PC based photoshop I'd be happy to send you the curve I use for the brown toning.
