Thank you Jose, this is one of my favorites as it reflects the cold and wet weather together with palm trees. The balance and distribution of the tones were also an appealing factor that persuaded me to share this photo. Thank you for your comment again.

Thank you Jose. There is so much detail in the original but this particular scan fails to show it here. It is either my calibration or the Usefilms. Thank you for commenting. Al.

Hello Domenico,
I first print it on a 20X20 multicontrast Ilford card, then scanned it. Thank you for your comment and interest.

Thank you Domenico for your kind words and the opportunity to explain my thoughts on photography briefly.
I am mainly a traditionalist in terms of photography though, I find digital photography superb.
I believe the way itself that gets us to the result is as important as the outcome itself. I do not do anything in Photosop that I could not accomplish in the wet darkroom.
In this particular case, I wanted to reflect the mood by having the blue overcast which I could simply achieve by implementing some blue toning technique.
I am glad to know I was succesful conveying the feeling well. Again, thanks to your feedback.

What fresher than this could be? Smiling children in joy. A sound photo very successful in reflecting the mood and the spirit. Very well managed highlights despite the somewhat harsh sidelighting. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Steffen,
I wonder if you can make out the feet of the man in the shadows. I can see all the detail in the shadows on my monitor and it is kind of important for the image. I wonder how it looks on other's monitors. Regards. Al.
