John, Thanks for your comments about my photos. I just have a very basic digital camera which does not allow for many settings. I was dissapointed in how this one turned out. With all the bright sun I thought the image would be a lot sharper but I felt it would help to add the flair touch. I would love to have an adjustable camera but that will have to wait.
Not being a native Pittsburgher I had no sadness for Steeler loss but I think my wife was about to cry. There is a strange love for football and sports in general here in SW PA.

Evelyn, thank you for your comment. Actually, you are correct, I guess you can't fool a true gardener, when I took this last summer it was a rich purple. I was looking through photos to upload and decided on this one. I thought it much easier to leave it as it is rather than trying to figure out how to enhance its natural color. Yes, I am longing for warmer temperature already.
