Yep, they were really working. At least they were making enough noise to convince me they were : )

Early in the morning when the sun was still asleep, these guys were drilling metal poles in the ground to stop the building above from collapsing.

That's what happens when you build a city on mud...

Despite the aging of this photo (or maybe because of it) this is a kick ass picture. That poor guy is sitting ther eall by himself with no one paying attention to him, and he's got such an important message (I guess, if you believe it). Only the bird walks near him.
