Nice study of lines and tones.
Thanks for commenting on my image, "Wetland." Sorry for the long time in getting back to you; I've been traveling. -- Naomi

Yes, a crop would work well, but I like to get some background in.

Hi Paul, i can't believe this. You write me a comment (by the way thanks!) and i come to visit your portfolio and what do i see a Newark barge.

GREAT! I went to school in Newark (Magnus) many years ago. Used ot live in Collingham so i know this area really well. Still have family around the Nottingham area. Nice to meet you on Usefilm.

I could imagine this photo with a much tighter crop. You still ahve a lot of empty space around the centre of attention which is the barge.

Catch you later!

Take care and best wishes from Switzerland
Neil

Many thanks. Funny thing is, it is rather abandoned, and could do with cleaning up etc, but that's what makes it a good subject!

Many thanks! Glad you like my work. Yes, cheap cameras can be great. They are great for adding there own character to photos.

Wassup Paul, I particularly like this shot. Like the rest of your work it has true atmosphere and realism and is in no way pretentious.I think the cheap camera is vastly under-rated. Top marks dude, excellent.
