Great deatail. I like how it goes from dark to light.... going from black to dark brown to orange to bright orange until it is a vibrant yellow. Very cool effect!

This is very cute. The B&W tones are great too! I'm not a huge fan of watermarks or whatever you call them! LOL I am easily distracted and it distracts me from the image at hand. I understand why it's there though

P.S. thanks for your comments here and on flickr. I have been quite busy and haven't had much time for browsing and commenting, but am trying to get back into that mode!

Very pretty! I like the lighting, her expression and the softness. I think it might be just a touch too light which is causing you to losing a little bit of detail around her hairline.

This is absolutely gorgeous. That bit of orange in the wave reflecting off of the water is really stunning.

My only complaint is that the horizon is just a little too central. I might have brought the frame down a tad to include a little more of the sand and brought the horizon up just a touch.

This is great! Her personality is shining through, the lighting is good, skintones are gorgeous, she looks very sexy, but in a natural and NOT OVER THE TOP kind of way - LOVE THAT. You must have been having fun, that is always good! The perspective and composition are good too! All around a very lovely shot and I'm sure she was quite pleased with it!

This is beautiful, the reflection is great! I know that in film photography grain is good, but I think with this image it would look simply amazing without the grain with a crisp, clear sky and reflection.

A great image, none the less!

This is very nice! I love the detail and clarity. Her expression is nice too. The only thing I could knit pick about is the light on her face. I would prefer that bit of brightness to light her face completely or not at all for a more even lighting. That's just me, though... I'm really anal about that! LOL

Is it me, or does this girl look like a young Aaliyah?

This is really interesting. The composition is great. The halo around the sun and the green tone gives a very surreal feeling. Did you do some manipulating to get this effect? I really like it Kemal!

Yes, this is a beauty! As I told you, the warm tones are very nice and I love the bits of light reflecting on the mist and the crests of the waves.

Amy, I just wanted to tell you that the current project is peace and tranquility. That nostalgic photo you posted last night would be PERFECT! Some of your other land/seascapes would fit nicely too... just thought I'd tell ya

Beautiful and emotive portrait. The child is stunning, yet his expression and the look in his eyes creates great emotion. Beautiful tones as well.

Is this your first submission to usefilm? If so, welcome!

OH MY GOSH! And here I thought it was something posted a while back and I just didn't see it!

CONGRATULATIONS! A girl! WOW! How exciting.

I feel like such a loser for not having kept up! Was this planned or unexpected? I think we need to change your name to fertile myrtle!

This has an almost sensual feel to it. I like the composition. I am wondering if you used a flash here. The lighting looks a tad harsh. The reflection coming from the white material is almost distracting since your face and other parts of the photo are darker. I really like this idea, though. I just think the lighting might be a tad harsh. Some soft light would be PERFECTO!

How did I never see this?

For some reason it looks very pixely on my monitor. I am guessing it has something to do with compression and nothing to do with your skills.

This is VERY sweet. I love the dreamy look on your face as though you are daydreaming about your little baby boy and what he will be like while Clay holds your pregnant belly proudly and stares dead into the camera with a sweet smile on his face.

I can't beleive you got him in on it! LOL It would be like pulling teeth to get Paul to participate in something like this! Nice work, Rach!

I agree about the pier. I forgot to mention in the description that we were right by the pier and the sun was setting right next to it!LOL So, unfortunately, the pier is in nearly every shot I took at the beach that day!

Thank you for the constructive criticism, I appreciate it

I love this. It has an almost abstract quality to it. The softness of the water and the purple colors pretty much rock! Awesome work, John!

I like it. The silhouette is great.

I'm wondering if you can have more detailed services listed on the back. I recently saw someone's professionally printed cards that had their services neatly listed on the back of the card in a light colored ink.

It's just an idea! I think this will give people a better idea of the types of photography you do.

Yeah, I don't want you giving away your secrets! Just giving a little info on what the process was so people can appreciate the fact that it wasn't easily achieved.
